Dog breeding is truly an exercise in patience bordering on Zen mastery. After a lengthy wait the litter has finally arrived. There were a few scares along the way but thanks to Kirsten at Total Veterinary Services in Christchurch everything went well. Essie and babies are doing well so far - their updated progress can be found on the litter's page.

Yeah, that's right...whoops again! I upgraded our CMS engine, along with the blog engine, and stuffed it up somewhere along the way. It ended up being a bunch easier to start the blogging side from scratch. For now details of Essie's first litter is in the Litter plans page
